The Impulse has an extremely slim profile, but make no mistake, it's a wolf in sheep's clothing. It's powerful but very user-friendly, ideally suited as a long-range clean to mixed ground beachcaster. It works on the principles of smooth and progressive casting styles and offers great bite detection. Putting soft baits and multi-hook rigs "over the horizon" we know calls for a subtle mix of extreme power.

You need a tip that will not obliterate your baits, plus a reserve of power that can be utilised with competent modern casting styles. We want you to see and feel every single twitch from any size fish you might attract. We also want you to feel an absolute level of confidence in firstly reaching them, and secondly, in successfully landing them. Long-range fishing is a complex mix of feel, power and raw instinct. The Impulse offers the lot.
